Port Townsend and surrounding areas
Within an easy drive and ferry ride, Port Townsend is a short distance from all Puget Sound communities. Situated in the famed "Banana Belt" of the Olympic Peninsula, Port Townsend receives an annual rainfall of only 18 inches.
Port Townsend is approximately 1 1/2 hours to Interstate 5 in Tacoma and about 2 hours to SeaTac International Airport.
Victoria is in easy reach by ferry out of Port Angeles which is to the west of Port Townsend. The trip takes under 2 hours and you can be home by dark.
